ICA-Africa Pays Tribute to Board Member-at-Large, Mr. Timothy Waindim

On behalf of the ICA-Africa Regional Board, it is with deep sadness and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Timothy Waindim, recently elected ICA-Africa Board Member-at-Large and a distinguished leader from the North West Cooperative Association (NWCA Ltd), Cameroon. 

Mr. Waindim passed away on 20th November 2025 in Douala, Cameroon, following a brief illness.  His passing is a great loss not only to ICA-Africa and the cooperative fraternity in Cameroon, but also to the wider cooperative movement across the African continent, where he was widely respected for his commitment, humility, and unwavering dedication to cooperative development.

Throughout his years of service in the cooperative movement, Mr. Waindim demonstrated exemplary leadership and a strong passion for strengthening African cooperatives. His contribution, insight, and service will be deeply missed.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues at NWCA Ltd, the cooperative community in Cameroon, and all who had the privilege of working with him. We invite all members to keep his family and community in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
