MIDTERM REVIEW OF THE 13TH AFRICA MINISTERIAL COOPERATIVE CONFERENCE TRANSITIONS TO VIRTUAL EVENT

Tuesday,14 May 2024- The International Cooperative Alliance-Africa announces today that the Midterm Review of the 13th Africa Ministerial Cooperative Conference, originally scheduled to take place in Lesotho from May 19th to May 22nd, 2024, will now be conducted virtually. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development in Lesotho has advised the cancellation of the physical event. 

The conference, which was set to address the theme "Leveraging Cooperatives for Transitioning African Economies: A Holistic Approach to Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Peace and Security and Economic Stability", will now be accessible to participants from around the world via a virtual platform. Participants can expect engaging presentations, insightful panel discussions and networking opportunities.
