The International Cooperative Alliance Africa Region (ICA-Africa), in collaboration with AMPCM, will host a one-day training programme on 8 June 2026 in Maputo, Mozambique, aimed at strengthening understanding and application of the cooperative business model.
Held under the theme “From Cooperative Principles to Policy Influence: Cooperative Fundamentals and Business Model in Practice,” the training will bring together cooperative leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, youth, and women groups to explore how cooperatives can drive inclusive and sustainable economic development.
The training seeks to deepen participants’ understanding of cooperative identity, values, governance structures, and operational models while highlighting the role cooperatives play in promoting shared prosperity and community resilience.
